While I didn’t get around to making all of the salads I’d planned to this summer, I’m making it for it this fall thanks to the most delicious dressings and vinaigrettes from Dress it Up. This women-owned brand is a recent discovery and I can’t say enough about how delicious their dressings and vinaigrettes are. Plus they are all olive oil based, which is one of the things I always look for in my dressings.
As a longtime Champagne Viniagrette fan (I like to make my own), I was definitely excited to try out Dress it Up’s version, but I was too intrigued by the Sesame Tahini Vinaigrette, so I had to try it out first!
For this salad, you can go with a variety of different lettuces depending on your personal taste, but I’m obsessed with Butter Lettuce (the flavor and the texture) so it’s one of my go-to’s for creating a nice leafy salad bowl. This salad is predominantly veggies (and if you sub tofu for the sliced chicken nuggets it’s completely vegetarian), but I really like the mix of flavors of this salad as a whole. The wonton strips add a nice bit of crunch and the Sesame Tahini Dressing adds the perfect bit of flavor and ‘bite’ to this salad.
While you can order any of the dressings and vinaigrettes from Dress it Up on their own, I highly suggest creating a box with a selection of four. The Sesame Tahini Dressing and Champagne Vinaigrette are my favorites so far, but I have my eye on the Blackberry Vinaigrette as well which would be the perfect accompaniment for a spring or summer salad.

Ingredients —
- Sesame Tahini Dressing (c/o Dress it Up)
- 1 butter lettuce head
- Perdue Lightly Breaded Chicken Nuggets (sliced)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 6 mini cucumbers (sliced)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- Authentic Wonton Strips
Directions —
To assemble the salad, preheat the oven and bake your chicken nuggets for the time on the package. While you’re waiting for your chicken nuggets to cook, tear your butter lettuce and rinse thoroughly, allowing to drain. Place lettuce in three small salad bowls. Prep. the other veggies and add them on top of your lettuce.
Once the chicken nuggets of cooled, slice them into strips (if desired) and add the chicken to your salad bowls. Top with wonton strips and Sesame Tahini Dressing. Enjoy!
