Each morning during your stay at Hotel Domestique begins with a complimentary breakfast. While breakfasts are usually served in the the dining area nearest to the lobby, there was a wedding during our stay and all hotel guests were sent through to the Hotel Domestique’s Restaurant 17 for the morning meal.

We tend to get up early even while on vacation to send some time in the room before heading down to breakfast. Breakfast is served till 10, so we normally head down around nine.

The breakfast options changes daily, but thankfully they offered eggs made to order with toast each day. The restaurant does accommodate dietary needs, but for convince it’s best to let the front desk know upon check in so the kitchen will already be aware.

While we waited for our breakfast to arrive, I popped outside to the pool area  to capture some of the fall foliage during the brief moments when the sun was attempting to shine through the clouds.

Another of the relaxing area, this room is located just off the lobby.
We stopped off at our guest pantry to pick up a little trail mix for later…

Throughout our stay, mom took the opportunity to stitch on the Melissa Shirley canvas of Vicki Sawyers ‘Who Ate the Hor d’oeuvres. The stitch guide is by Virginia Barney and both the canvas and the stitch guide are available from Needlepoint.com
